Ingredients:
1/3 cup butter or margarine
2 medium onions, chopped
3 celery stalks, chopped
10 cups Miltons Healthy Multi-Grain
Bread, cubed
2 granny smith apples, peeled, cored
and chopped
1 1/2 cups walnuts, chopped
1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1/4 cup fresh sage, chopped
1/4 cup fresh rosemary, chopped
1/4 cup fresh thyme, chopped
3/4 to 1 1/2 cups chicken stock
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
In non-stick skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add onions and celery; cook 5 minutes or until soft.
In large bowl, mix bread, onion mixture, apples and walnuts. Add parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme. Mix in enough
chicken stock to moisten bread. Season with salt and pepper. Bake at 350 F. for 35-45 minutes until heated through.
