As we move into the first weeks of summer, we find ourselves at Milton’s chatting about our vacation plans, the weddings we have been invited to, perhaps a new restaurant with a patio that just opened up down the street, and the latest achievements of our childrens’ sports teams. Ah yes – with the warmer weather and summer pastimes beckoning, what’s not to like? Lemonade stands. Chimes of the ice cream truck. Neighborhood pick-up baseball games. The last day of school. And of course – the tradition that is honored in millions of backyards coast to coast: the summer BBQ.
At Milton’s we love the change in the seasons, and with the onset of summer, find ourselves whipping up more summer favorites for friends and family alike. In particular, we find ourselves making more batches of our Multi-Grain and Gourmet White Hot Dog and Hamburger Buns. Many people think that the quality of a hamburger or a hot dog comes down to the meat, or the toppings, or the condiments. With Milton’s, we think the bun is what makes the meal! Our hot dog and hamburger buns are craft baked for surprising flavor and texture using the same signature recipe that made our breads so great – so much so that we like to think ours can handle all the yummy goodness of all the fixin’s you can pile on them!
